How have I got a full blown Toddler as a son. Where’s my teeny tiny baby gone. Archie has changed a lot this month he’s started to pick up things up really quickly and learning new things every day. He’s saying a lot more words and noises. He knows the noise of a snake, dog, lion and monkey and will perform these noises on request without having to see the photos.
He is now understanding how to tell me when he doesn’t want to do something and when he does by saying yes/ no or shaking and nodding his head.
Mealtimes are a lot easier and less messy as he is able to use a fork. We’re still mastering the spoon. It’s a lot harder when your food falls off every time you try to eat.
We’ve had a bit of a rough few weeks the last two weeks. It started off with Archie picking up a stomach bug and violently throwing up for a few days which he then he passed it on to me. So we have only just got back to our normal selves. That being said Archie has still managed to gain s ton of weight and now weighs 27lbs 6oz. My little chunk. He is still wearing his 12-18 clothing and I think he’ll be in them a while as they aren’t snug yet.
The weather has been rubbish where I live. There has been hardly any sunny days so we haven’t been able to get out of the house as much as we wanted to recently. Weve had days at the park and in the garden but unfortunately no beach days yet.
This month Callum has been away at the weekends in Cardiff for work so we haven’t got to spend a lot of time with him. We’ve been keeping ourselves busy by going to yet another christening, soft play, walks with the dogs and out to the shops.
Archie is full of energy at the moment and just wants to run everywhere. It’s hard to tire him out so soft play is a definite favourite.
I can’t wait to see how much he has grown by next month. It feels like yesterday I was writing his birthday post and here we are 4 months later with a toddler.
Hope everyone else is having a lovely summer and actually have nice weather.
Love Tilly & Archie xx
