Archie has had his 2nd lot of jabs this month. For some reason he had an allergic reaction which was not good at all. He came out all in a rash from head to toe and had a fever. Apparently it is normal for the injections he had, but seeing my little boy upset and poorly was a tough one.
We’ve been on a couple of dog walks this month and some mini adventures as a family. Our new favourite thing to do is to go for walks with Archie in his pushchair. He is such a context baby and absolutely loves being in his pushchair all snug going on adventures with Mummy and Daddy.
Archie is still exclusively breastfed, it is going so well and I am extremely proud of myself for continuing to do it even with the struggles at the beginning. He feeds for 10 minutes at a time around 15 times a day. He is a hungry little boy and loves his milk. He’s growing very nicely and fitting snug in first size clothes and moving onto 0-3 months. He now weighs 10lbs 10oz. Mummy’s little chunky monkey.
We took Archie to Teweksbury this month to se his Nana and Papa. His first little trip away from home. It’s crazy how much stuff you have to bring with you when you have a tiny baby to care for. Having a little Kia Picanto, we were really limited for space and having a newborn means you have to bring everything but the kitchen sink.
Archie is becoming more and more interactive as the days pass. Not only does he smile now but he giggles too. He follows you around the room with his eyes and is interested in everything going on. He is starting to play and properly grab things.
Bedtime is still the same as last month, although he is starting to skip his 3am feed. Can not wait for him to sleep through the nights. Think the sleepless nights are starting to catch up with me.
Love Tilly & Archie xx
